ABOUT US
Wolf Pond Baptist Church was established in 1895 to serve people by sharing the message of life and hope that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
We believe that our 119 year heritage as a church does not serve as an anchor to weigh us down, but as a rudder to guide us into the future. We are thankful to have had the opportunity to serve for the last 119 years, but we are even more excited about what lies ahead in the future. As a church, we understand that ministry and the way we do ministry may change through the years but Jesus’ message of life and hope does not.
At Wolf Pond, we consider it a great privilege to be a part of Jesus’ mission and we want to do all we can to see His mission to completion.
MEET OUR PASTOR
Mark Evans
Mark grew up in a Christian home just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. Through the years he has served Christ and His church in many different ministry roles. He has served as deacon, elder, Sunday school teacher, youth minister and minister of education. Each of these ministry roles has given him a great appreciation and love for people of all ages and backgrounds. As Pastor, he enjoys most of all seeing the transformation that takes place in the lives of people when they follow Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
